Besides the Phi Phi Islands tour, we also booked a half day kayaking trip at Ao Tha Lane through Good Dream Guesthouse. I hardly take part in water activities because I’m not confident in water. Just so you know, when we were snorkeling in Krabi, TJ said I was holding on to him very tightly. Haha. Shows how scared I was of the open sea. For kayaking though, I wasn’t that scared of the water since there weren’t much currents. But my negligible muscles meant we kayaked way slower than the rest. Time to build up some muscles!
After kayaking, we decided to hang out at Ao Nang for the rest of the day. We had a late lunch at a restaurant called Tanta’s which was very reasonably priced. I noticed that the cafes and restaurants like to heart-shaped their food. Part of their touristy touch?
After lunch, we walked around aimlessly at Ao Nang, checking out the beach, the crowd and browsing the shops.
